In addition to being one of the most dedicated mortgage associates in Canada, J.D. is a competitive curler. In February 2010, he coached his girls team to 4th place in the Canadian Juniors. In 2007, he coached a Junior Men’s Team to a gold medal at the World Junior Curling Championships and he was the youngest coach to have ever led a team to a World Championship at the age of 22. I believe that coaching at a high level in sport has many parallels to his job as a mortgage professional. In both cases TRUST and COMMUNICATION have a huge impact on the success of everyone involved and those are qualities that J.D. strives to develop with every relationship.
