Karen Evans

A Calgary native, Karen Evans has worked in the mortgage industry for over 9 years, and knows the needs, the people, and the culture that makes this business, and our city, unique.

With an undergraduate degree (with distinction) in Fine Arts from the University of Calgary, Karen has spent her professional career working with people as an educator, performer, and customer service specialist. Prior to joining Dominion Lending Centres Westcor, Karen not only taught dancing (modern, ballet, and jazz), but danced professionally as well, performing with Young Canadians, Decidedly Jazz Danceworks, and the University of Calgary. She also worked for a number of years as a teaching assistant in the drama department at Bishop Carol High School.

At Dominion Lending Centres Westcor, Karen brings this penchant for creativity to work with all of her clients, and specializes in a number of areas to help them achieve their goals, including: mortgages on new and existing homes, refinancing, equity loans, debt consolidation, lines of credit, and secondary mortgages. As an accredited mortgage professional (AMP), the combination of Karen’s extensive knowledge and people skills continues to help many first time homeowners to not only understand their mortgage options, but to enjoy the process of purchasing that first dream home as well.
