Subhash Manro

Subhash Manro has a gift for making people feel at ease. An expert in the field of business and corporate financing, Subhash specializes in first mortgages on new and existing homes, refinancing, equity loans, and debt consolidation.

With an economics degree and as a chartered member of the British Institute of Bankers, Subhash worked for various banks in Kenya, Zambia, and England prior to coming to Canada in 1976. From there, he worked as Senior Manager Loans for the Business Development Bank of Canada (formerly the Federal Business Development Bank), and joined Dominion Lending Centres Westcor after retiring from that position in 2001. During his tenure there, Subhash was involved in numerous business loans in virtually every industry, ranging from manufacturing, retail, hospitality, land, and real estate development, to high technology and oil and gas. In addition to this, Subhash was also involved in various facets of financing (e.g., conventional loans, mezzanine financing, equity, and subordinated debt), and also gained extensive experience in debt collection and consolidation, realization, and financial workouts.

At Dominion Lending Centres Westcor, Subhash is primarily involved in commercial financing, drawing from a far-reaching network of local bankers and private lenders/investors. From start-ups and expansions, to diversifying, leveraging and management buy-outs, he is able to undertake projects at any stage of development.
