Prior to coming to Canada in 1976 he worked for various Banks in Kenya, Zambia and England. From 1976 to 2001 he worked for the Business Development Bank of Canada (formerly Federal Business Development Bank) and joined Westcor after retiring in 2001 from the position of Senior Manager Loans. During the tenure with the Business Development Bank he was involved in numerous business loans in virtually every industry ranging manufacturing, retail, hospitality, land and real estate development, high tech and oil& gas.

He was involved in various facets of financing i.e. conventional loans, mezzanine financing, equity and subordinated debt. Extensive experience was also gained in debt collection, realizations, debt consolidation and financial workouts largely during the late 1980's.

At Westcor Subhash is primarily involved in commercial financing drawing from an extensive network of local bankers, private lenders/investors and off shore lenders. He is able to undertake projects at any stage of development i.e. start-ups, expansions, diversifications, leveraged or management buy-outs.
